A delicious Ploughman's sandwich with creamy red coleslaw and a good variety of ingredients in a dressed salad. A generous chunk of cheddar and very tasty home cooked ham. Very filling and fresh. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and go out of their way. The deluxe hot chocolate is absolutely perfect, a quality hot chocolate. There is a variety of what looks like homemade cakes. We were too full but are going back for the Victoria sponge! If the cafe is full, it's worth popping back later.

Amazing find. Lovely cafe right in the seafront with a great selection of breakfasts, snacks, lunches and afternoon teas. We had the Devon savory tea which was amazing and a brilliant change to the cream tea. Lots of seating, and you're encouraged to share when busy which is good. Friendly staff who were very welcoming

Was looking for somewhere to have a quick bite to eat and found this family-friendly little cafe close to the seafront. Although it was very busy, the owner found me a nice place near the counter. The cafe is in a quaint Victorian building, but the interior decor is clean and modern, with some lovely artwork on the walls. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere in general was relaxed and casual. They do a simple menu that includes breakfasts, jacket potatoes, sandwiches and light meals as well as cream teas and some tempting cakes. Good choice of hot drinks. I ordered a fruit scone with strawberry jam and clotted cream. Service was quick, the scone was homemade and really fresh, and the pot of tea was good and hot. A satisfying refreshment break in a very welcoming environment, and at 5.50 good value for money.
